Just like Alice in Wonderland hears from the cat “we are all mad here”, Microsoft talks about “a future that is wonderfully bonkers” and welcomes girls to an amazing learning experience.
In a step towards empowering girls and addressing the digital gender gap, we were invited by Microsoft to design, plan and host the global, learning experience “Alice envisions the future”. In a 4-day bootcamp 160 girls & 60 teachers from 22 different countries had the chance to acquire new skills like programming BOTS, building robots, and utilizing a variety of Microsoft apps.
The event took place in Athens in 2018 and had it all: a main conference, 15 speakers and 20 trainers, 1 Hackathlon, stage design, break-out training sessions, and lots of inspiration & entertainment. All under the unique endorsement of Miscrosoft and the bespoke hospitality and event management of team Event Plus.
