From Track to Tour
Commissioned by OPAP Allwyn, official sponsor of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, the OPAP McLaren F1 Car Roadshow transformed a global sponsorship into a high-impact national tour. For 9 days, across 5 cities — Thessaloniki (89th TIF), Ioannina, Larissa, Patras, and Athens — we brought the adrenaline of Formula 1 closer than ever to more than 30,000 visitors.
We designed a fully immersive, modular experience that traveled seamlessly from city to city. At its core stood the F1 show car zone: a bold, container-based structure showcasing the McLaren single-seater as the undisputed hero. Clean architectural lines, premium branding, and dynamic lighting amplified its presence for maximum visual impact, while expertly planned visitor flow and crowd management ensured a smooth and safe guest journey.
The engagement zone transformed spectators into participants. Visitors raced on F1 simulators, transformed into McLaren drivers through an AI photobooth, stepped onto the winners’ podium for photo moments, joined digital challenges, and enjoyed themed face painting, while live DJ sets elevated the atmosphere and kept audiences moving, participating, and sharing.
