In September 2024, the historic Kallimarmaro Stadium became the stage for "20 Years Later", a grand event organized by the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) to honor two decades since the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
The celebration paid tribute to the remarkable Olympians and Paralympians of 2004 and 2024, the legendary 2004 football team that brought glory to Greece, and the dedicated volunteers who were pivotal to Athens 2004’s success.
The evening came alive with the energy of fabulous presenters, a passionate audience, captivating live performances, and emotional medal ceremonies honoring athletes.
